Thought experiment- if you were suddenly appointed to do your sibling’s job, how badly would you suck at it?

I visited Mt Rushmore on a road trip about 10 years ago, and in context, it was a real perspective shifter how this monument that seemed so grandiose on film and TV was basically just a really expensive tourist trap.

Those alt gov accounts that arose after 2016 are grifters. One of the top posts yesterday was @altnoaa.bsky.social posting an AI image of a beluga whale "escaping captivity to reunite with her baby." In response to being told it was AI, the poster said AI is good, actually, for evoking emotions.

oh yeah, in terms of good news- I haven't seen anyone talking about this??? In short- worst case scenario of 4C warming by 2100 is no longer possible, new worst-case is 2.8C now DOES NOT MEAN we just relax- the only way we got here is through hard work- but it means THE HARD WORK IS WORKING
