Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)
It's cool that shit like the novel of I Am Legend got made into movies 3 times and every version is way different and that might be weird to bring up when there are better examples but I swear I was just watching parts of the first Vincent Price one a few hours ago on youtube.
I'm kinda sad that a lot of old gaming IPs didn't just die, since now I gotta occasionally listen to people excited for The New Thing taking about history like it was a bunch of silly little mistakes.
Like I'm not saying old shit should be preserved in amber, but you need to let shit get old and forgotten so someone can bring it back not out of brand appeal, but because they think it's cool and got new ideas. LIKE GOD THAT USED TO BE SO MANY OLD MOVIE REMAKES

I think another lesson to take from the loss of both Dolly and Tim Curry is that neither of them took themselves seriously but they took the work dead serious that's the most important thing pour all of yourself into the craft but have fun and don't get an ego.
A little reminder that enjoying yourself is never a waste of time. Hours into a videogame isn't a waste of time. Learning something for fun isn't a waste of time. I love learning new things, I have so many I learned once and never did again. Never a waste of time.
