Familiarization is something you do to get to know the game that you're about to translate, but for me it's also a precious time to fall in love with the game.

I’m not good with numbers, so I work with words. But I’m still surrounded by numbers—word counts, deadlines, rates… What gives? 数字は苦手だから、言葉に関わる仕事をしていると 言っても過言ではないのだけど、 ワード数とか、納期とか、単価とか 気がつけば結局は数字に囲まれている…😓
