Video game leaker Shpeshal Nick has said on X that the Pokemon Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire ports for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 are planned to be released in late September early October. The ports of the classic Pokemon games have yet to to be confirmed by The Pokemon Company, but were expected to be coming. Hopefully we won't have to wait long to find out.

Nintendo says its donating 50 million yen to help Kumamoto earthquake relief efforts
Nintendo has confirmed via social media that it plans to donate 50 million yen to help with relief efforts for the Kumamoto earthquake disaster which has claimed 38 lives so far and has seen about 6,900 evacuees at shelters. The money will go to the Red Cross Society in the area. The Pokemon Company also donated 100 million yen earlier this week to help with relief efforts.
