US Financial Commentator, Financial Times. Opinions mine, unfortunately. The pursuit of pleasure is hard work.

this just a tremendous podcast - @robinwigglesworth.ft.com and @robarmstrong.bsky.social tell the story of Jesse Livermorem the legendary trader who made and lost several fortunes in the early 20th century. One of the great stories in finance told with vim and enthusiasm. www.ft.com/content/45b6...

Morgan Stanley estimates that capital investment at the five big AI “hyperscalers” (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta and SpaceX) will average $1.1tn a year from 2026 to 2028. The US Department of Defense’s budget request for fiscal 2026 is $961bn. That is all.

Accessing it *for your kids* to watch a program is really obnoxious. You inevitably have to scroll through what feels like every single program ever put into the Disney (or XYZ media platform) library to get that one episode. They see five other things they want to watch before you get there.
