I see now we missed an opportunity by not entitling our book "Bayesian Odyssey" instead of "Bayesian Workflow". The priors are polytropic! Still all the case studies are online avehtari.github.io/Bayesian-Wor... (and python translations arviz-devs.github.io/bayesian-wor...) for your adventure
Anyone headed to #JSM2026 next week? Let's talk data storytelling and/or ecological modeling!
I was planning to wrist a blog post at work but Gelman and crew already wrote it for me in their new book :(
Lovely review of #BayesianWorkflow just appeared in ISR. Some highlights: “This is an important book", "beautifully structured", "a tour-de-force", "[certain to] inspire future innovations in Bayesian theory, methodology and computational software.” onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

I've distilled my experience of useR! 2026 Warsaw into a blog post. Hoping that people who couldn't attend get a taste of it, and are motivated to participate in the next one - or come join us for posit::conf(2026) in Houston! #RStats #useR2026 opensource.posit.co/blog/2026-07...
useR! 2026: CRDTs, community, and contributing back to R
Reflections from useR! 2026 in Warsaw - talking about CRDTs and collaborative editing coming to Quarto 2, increasing adoption of mirai and mori, and a day spent contributing to base R at R Dev Day.

Now that the Bayesian Workflow book is physically in the world, I am spending more time again on 3rd edition of Stat Rethinking. Lots of workflow stuff to weave into it. (Yeah I am still just using latex, you quarto kids get off my lawn.)
Finally, got a copy of Bayesian workflow book in my hand, and it looks awesome! I really like we did get full colors for figures, too
Look what was waiting on my desk this morning! It's so great to finally see #BayesianWorkflow in print.
Osvaldo is translating the Bayesian Workflow book's case studies to Python, very useful in case you are snake person arviz-devs.github.io/bayesian-wor...

the bayesian workflow book is great so far, filled with experience based reflections and suggestions. I can also see the different voices. I'd bet @rmcelreath.bsky.social would have written at least 10 pages for the early 1p list of useful features of bayesian stats (and I'd have loved every word)
Great to see the Bayesian Workflow book by @statmodeling.bsky.social, @avehtari.bsky.social, @rmcelreath.bsky.social et al is already going viral on BlueSky! Please post a photo of your copy using the hashtag #BayesianWorkflow...! 😀 routledge.com/9780367490140 #RStats #DataScience #Bayesian
Bayesian Workflow is available on Kindle on 2026-08-28. I wonder how good the formatting is on the Kindle version. @avehtari.bsky.social @rmcelreath.bsky.social
Thrilling news for me as I’m waiting for my Bayesian Workflow pre order to come!
Picked this up today for some light summer reading! Looking forward to diving in. Hope to understand at least 25% of it. @rmcelreath.bsky.social @avehtari.bsky.social
