Intolerant centrist. Easily amused, curious to know. (British) citizen of the world, ex US immigrant, European. No ranting extremists (left or right), no fantasising populists, no misguided nationalists. Stronger together always.

When Democrats take power, they must immediately cancel all of Elon Musk’s government welfare checks. Like and repost if you want this to happen.

My favourite bit of this week in British politics was the official cancellation of the Burnham Honeymoon… …or maybe it was the selection of Wes Streeting to Defence. Not sure if that’s a U-turn? Perhaps Chris Mason can clarify.

Burnham says “we need to do better” then kicks the can down the road till after the summer. Only yesterday he said he had a plan. For someone on his third attempt, may I gently suggest that this type of better, is not much different from previous versions of it. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

The Reform UK leader faces a challenge from Count Binface as the main parties rule out standing in Clacton.

Mason’s conjecture that any of Farage’s rivals would stand a snowball in hell’s chance is fanciful. They’re going to need to ride his discredited ghost train to the very last stop to have the faintest hope of Reform not shedding their base to Restore. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Chris Mason: Accusations around Farage leave him looking vulnerable to his rivals

The Reform UK leader is in the news and at the heart of the headlines are questions about power, transparency and money.

I'm aware that Keir Starmer is throwing his bollocks at the clock right now and as such has no incentive to do anything about this but: he means you. When he says traitor, he means you. You, personally. And a lot of others, many in your government, but also you. This is a direct death threat at you.

Elon Musk endorses an open call for violence which frames refugees as "invaders". This is why we need to #makehatecostmore www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fight-the-...

Screenshot of a tweet from @Matt_Bracken48 reading "No point in bailing the boat while traitors are still busy chopping holes in the bottom". The accompanying image shows a white man in black, pointing a pistol with a silencer attached, and his finger on the trigger. On the image are the words "First the traitors then the invaders". Below the tweet is a reply from @elonmusk saying "Yes"
