At the Chicago AT:Proto Meetup yesterday, I was introduced to @rocksky.app. It's a VERY cool app that mimics Last.FM's audio scrobbling (tracking listens). If anyone wants to follow me, I'm on there now. I'd be interested in learning what the rest of you are listening to.

Yes, I use AT Protocol to sync my Rockbox audio settings. Well, my modified version of Rockbox. 😅 EQ, crossfade, tone controls, and other preferences are stored as an ATProto record under a @rocksky.app NSID and synced across devices.I'm tired of reconfiguring everything every time I switch devices.

Get yourself an SD Card and download Music and when that fills up put it into the @rocksky.app navidrome server for you to stream it in other devices lol (deleting music from your sd card is optional but you have extra space though)
Really great automation by @vicwalker.dev.br who build a @stream.place bot with @rocksky.app that tells viewers which song is being played

Yesterday's delayed scrobbles were caused by Jetstream issues. Rocksky now uses multiple Jetstream connections, plus event deduplication. If one endpoint has problems, others can continue processing events. Everything looks healthy again.

Yesterday we launched My Library, letting users upload their own music files to Rocksky. today we deployed a Navidrome-compatible API, so you can connect your Rocksky library with any Navidrome/Subsonic client. ->server: navidrome.rocksky.app scrobbling is already built in, no extra setup required.
