As a kid I didn't like harry potter because it wasn't really wizards, more witchcraft. especially since it was what people went to when I talked about wizards. So I was already a hater when jkr outed herself as a terf. Now I can actually talk about wizards and people don't assume I mean harry potter

Decided to make a blackberry lavender lime sorbet today. more work without an ice cream machine but it still turned out wonderful. The lavender and blackberries were harvested directly from the yard as well! (note to others, blackberries can become bramble hell fast, and they WILL try to take over)

This is the only Harry Potter argument worth making It wouldn't matter if Harry Potter was a singular, unmatched work of genius. Giving Rowling money is actively making the world a worse place and killing trans folks. There's no book good enough or nostalgic enough for that to be worth it.
