Question. Did democracy cease to function during the Whiskey Rebellion? The Great Railroad Strike of 1877? The May Day Riots? Let me put this another way, can you identify a single point in U.S. history where Americans exclusively expressed themselves in an orderly fashion along acceptable lines?

I don’t care if you’re razing Kenosha, storming the Capitol, or doing whatever this is in LA, no democracy can function when every group and identity block decides it has the right and moral authority to take its specific political disagreements into the streets.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.

1000% serious about this, @democrats.org. Show you care; make yourselves useful right now in a way people will remember. This isn't just about messaging; this is about SERVICE.

The @democrats.org should create self-verified accounts on Bluesky and Mastodon and their own website that mirror information (not propaganda) from every US government account that only posts on Twitter. Share those instead of the Musk accounts. Create an entirely separate infrastructure.
