This is every bit as concerning as the man’s equally deranged statements during the 2019 election campaign were, when they were splashed all over front pages and news bulletins. I took them at a heavy discount then, because they were plainly the views of a very right wing crank.

The AfD winning a larger share of the govt in Germany and who their ideological allies are should be illustrative that the forces who are transacting in Islamophobia are the same ones transcribing in Anti-Semitism
