Yes, it's me. The cocktail loving, board game playing, data librarian with a wall of games🇨🇦🍁

Here's another nose-stretcher from the Canadian Press. Some dude claims Canada is as anti-semitic as Nazi Germany and national media give him an unquestioned platform. Isn't there someone in an editorial newsroom somewhere who asks the obvious question "Why would we repost such bullshit?"

It gets worse. This so called US rabbi, representing the facist racist US & Isreal, and who recently met with Canadian officials is calling Canada Nazi Germany. www.ctvnews.ca/politics/art...

According to Ukraine's acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, their intelligence has detected that Russia is also taking part in the ongoing disinformation and disruption campaign targeting the EU and Spain with the so called "invasion of Ceuta". US and Russia vs EU.

We have detected an intensive Russian propaganda campaign across Europe using pictures from Ceuta to sow destabilization.

There have been more than 1,500 publications on outlets identified by analysts as a pro-Russian network, led by Pravda and RT. Pravda Spanish has posted almost 300 of them. Every language edition of RT has pushed more than 25 news items on the issue.

For years, Moscow has used migration and other sensitive topics to stoke fear and destabilize European countries.

This is not about the situation itself, but about the way Russia tries to exploit any topic that can benefit its agenda. The only way to protect the public from this interference is to cut it off.

All Russian propaganda resources should be completely banned in every European country that takes its national security seriously.

Top US officials amplifying the disinformation and disruption campaign targeting Europe; the US is attempting to destablise Spain and produce a right wing ecosystem to oust the current government. The campaign mirrors Russia's strategy, is being pushed by Trump admin.

ABC Vancouver told reporters that the Villages plan was “disrespectful”, that city staff went too far, and that they were protecting residents from the sins of bureaucracy. But who told city staff to come up with a transformative plan? Here’s the receipts.

We can't let ourselves forget: So many of our problems today are Harper's fault. It's not as though this funding magically came back when Trudeau became prime minister. (From a master's thesis in criminology by Kadance Backman, 2022.)

Arguably, the role of CBRF staff has become more important as parole officers’ caseloads have expanded while their resources have decreased. There are ongoing concerns about whether parole officers have the time and resources to effectively carry out their duties to ensure the safety and security of the community and assist with the rehabilitation of the offender (Union of Safety and Justice Employees, 2019). In 2012, the Government of Canada introduced the Deficit Reduction Action Plan (DRAP), resulting in reduced funding and reductions in staff, programs, and services in CSC. This policy created challenges for personnel across the federal corrections system.

I called Patty Hajdu's office today and someone actually answered. They greeted me with "let me guess, you're calling about Westjet?" Had a decent conversation in support of flight attendants' right to strike, and the repeal of Section 107 of the Canadian Labour Code.

WestJet Flight Attendants: Ready to strike to end unpaid work | CUPE 8125 WestJet Component

WestJet flight attendants aren't paid for boarding, safety checks or ground delays — up to 35 unpaid hours a month. See the facts about the possible strike and take action.

Carney caves to Trump again, and this is just going to be the American playbook from now on: any Canadian policy that inconveniences American businesses will result in trade antagonism until the PMO caves, meaning we have no real political independence worth mentioning.

From CBC “For the first 15 years under that agreement, toll revenue will be used to pay for the bridge's maintenance and operating expenses. The rest of the money will be split, with Canada getting half and the other half going to an economic development fund controlled by the U.S. government.”
