Sorry to all the other Ron Hecks, this account is mine.

Me to the lottery: Yeah, but what are the odds of someone getting none of the numbers? Not just once, but like over and over again. That's gotta be worth something, right?

“Some Republicans are not on board with Trump’s policies,” “A GOP backlash to Trump is brewing,” “These Republican lawmakers could stand in Trump’s way.” There are media headlines like this everyday but they are always always always always bullshit.

Call me ignorant or something, I don't know, but I've never identified as someone who *had* to give money to the New York Times in order to feel whole. I think I've gone my whole life without that thought ever occurring to me. I'm never pulling up a weed and going "did I give to the Times today?"

Started Retropolis 2. Very minimal interactions and movement, graphics feel like a PSVR 1 game... and it's refreshing. Cool puzzles, tons of atmosphere, and good writing. Annoying to not have a PS5 port of the first one if it's as good as this.

I have tried many times to get into Fire Emblem. After Engage I’m not trying anymore. I know other recent games are much better, but it doesn’t change how the characters look, sound, or act. Feels wrong in a ludonarrative dissonance way. I remain an Advance Wars superfan.

New York Times: trans people shouldn’t be allowed anywhere, Joe Biden is too old, Kamala Harris isn’t ready, and infants need to see The Odyssey. I don’t bother trying anymore, but I don’t begrudge anyone for yelling at subscribers for funding this garbage.

Looking at Cameo video rates to determine which celebrities are 1. Busy (expensive) 2.Too nice (cheap) 3. Busy and too nice (cheap) 4. Not busy and an asshole (expensive)

Following years of the general term "Artificial Intelligence" being used to sell the public on plagiarism machines, it's pretty fucking rich whenever people pull the "but what about autocorrect" card. You know what you're doing, you pricks. Stop gaslighting people with better things to think about.

Hopefully Spielberg is alive in 15-20 years, so they can reshoot the bookend scenes in Saving Private Ryan. Turns out that elderly man from the beginning who looked exactly like Matt Damon was, in fact, Matt Damon.

Playing Conker's Pocket Tales. Was curious what this was like before the premise was retooled. I always assumed it was geared towards a much younger audience, but it is very much a Rare game. Has that trickiness and oddball art direction. Initial overworld is terrible, until you get a slingshot.

if you post "what transphobes don't understand is": girl. they know. they understand that they are applying thoroughly unnatural and fascistic roles to sex and gender. applying thoroughly unnatural and fascistic roles is what they do. they know. they're doing it on purpose.

Started Skydance's Behemoth. I thought the Saints and Sinners combat would be clunky in a faster paced combat focused game, and it is a little bit. Really fun, though. Nice Dark Souls-y atmosphere, while being forgiving from a checkpoint and difficulty standpoint. Much appreciated.

I distrust anyone using the term "folks." Creeps me out. Which folks? Is that guy one of the aforementioned folks? Am I a folk? It's almost always a way to make up people to demonstrate a point.
