this is probably in no small part because political corruption is so rife in the UK that people just take is a given at this point, it's all well and good to talk about Reform being corrupt (which they are) but when you then pivot to defending corruption from Labour/Tory politicians...

Very disappointing from the new Prime Minister, very much sounding like the previous PM. These are among the world’s most vulnerable and desparate people. They need safe routes and humanity from responsible politicians, not grandstanding. This isn’t doing politics differently.
