I’ve been working on an article for the past four days. It’s just not hanging together - the argument doesn’t work. So I’m giving up on it. It’s the first time I’ve abandoned a piece of writing.

When my wife did chemo and radiation, she would go outside once or twice a day and shed the hair as it all fell out. Today, seven months later, we just found a nest a bird (likely a wren) made out of her hair.
