In Buddhism, there are certain things a layperson shouldn't talk about. I did not know this when I started talking about them and offered to write a book about those things. So I made the promise in naivete. But I took money to produce it and at least one of my backers said I should still do it.

Today I learned that baby cranes are called "colts" because their legs are so long and they can run around like idiots shortly after hatching. This is delightful, I enjoy knowing this.

And then they throw in some Celtic languages and yoink bits of languages from around the world along the way. The result: a language where there are usually about 10 different ways to say something, but when it comes to writing, you sit at your desk for 20 minutes trying to think of one 🤣 #amwriting
