The lesson for those Arabs will be to uh, not do that again.
Hopefully he gets to catch the post-credits scene soon. Also, reminder that folks without housing are way more likely to be the victims of crime.

Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe

Given how close the primary was, it seems likely she could have won if she had held the exact same policy positions but refused campaign money from AIPAC. Hard to imagine other Dem politicians not noticing and learning the lesson.

I've lived in rural (and urban-ish) North Louisiana going on 15 years. Mostly deep red, pockets of light blue. I've not seen people organize around any issue like the data centers. They won't beat Amazon's and Meta's money in the short term, but they're ripe for mobilization.

I believe Stancil (who I have no beef with) can be explained in evolutionary terms. Social media promotes argument - we agree that’s just an inherent feature of it. So it’s natural social media would produce a person who argues with anyone over anything at any time for any reason. Pure argument.

the el-sayed win shows yet again that centrists are now everything they always claim the left is when it comes to israel: ideologically rigid, in hock to extremists, mistaking online beefs (ie hasan) for mass politics—and toxic to the electorate.
I think it’s great news to see Mallory McMorrow is already pledging her support to Abdul El Sayed- not only will it link the liberal and progressive groups back together, but I think it says a lot about the fractures in D party happening bcz of D leadership.

The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.
I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.

two separate people i know talked to klobuchar staffers about gaza and got "i don't know" type responses about why the fuck she was moving how she was. people are fed up. and it's obviously not just gaza but i do think the sheer horror of it REALLY highlights how fucked up that dynamic is.
