Just wanted to check a quote from a Dorothy L. Sayers novel, so I googled it. The indulgence of AI is like watching someone burn down a library every day. I'm sure Google was never perfect but this is actively unhelpful.

AI is baffled by metaphorical language and is off to the optician.
