Cape Breton totals so far: 150-250+ mm in 48 hrs. Showers/periods of rain continue to track in. Another trace to 5 mm today for most; however, potential for another 10 to 20 mm across Victoria county and through Sydney and Cape Breton county. The rain finally tapers off tonight and into Monday.
State of Local Emergency declared in Inverness, Richmond and Victoria Counties due to severe flooding and widespread damage. Multiple roads are closed and conditions remain dangerous.
