While Dragoon was technically R'ythian's first job, before HW R'ythian's power mostly came from Nidhogg's eye by way of Estinien. However, after gaining the trust of Hraesvelgr and defeating Nidstinien, Hraesvelgr's eye became the new source of his powers, reinforcing his partnership with Estinien

For those whose WoL/OC is canonically a DRG, do they use the power of Nidhogg's eye, that of another Great Wyrm (Hraesvelgr, Tiamat, etc), or that of another dragon's entirely (like Vidofnir)? #WoLQotD

I don't really talk politics on here but I have a massive pit in my stomach for the upcoming midterm elections in the U.S. I've already voted and whatever so there's nothing more I can do but I feel like I'm just bracing for another inevitable disappointment and more rage and despair

For me it's a tie between Vanaspati and Amaurot, with perhaps Amaurot taking the slight lead due to the combination of the slightly eldritch Ancients and the nature of the Final Days being a complete mystery. There's little scarier than an apocalypse even the Ancients were hopeless against.

one ysayle hill i will die on is that out of all of hydaelyn's special girls, she's the most like venat. she sees a serious rot in the established order, and seeks to violently tear it down—compels her people to take a good look at the truth and refuses to let them bury it or look away any longer.

R'ythian's primary jobs are Dark Knight, Reaper, and Black Mage, with Dragoon, White Mage, and Astrologian serving as secondary. For Evercold R'ythian's focus will be Reaper, with Dark Knight and Black Mage maybe showing up.
