The thing is there is no fucking Deep State- it’s literally just the State. People in power operate with as much impunity as they can get away with, and people in proximity to power will do anything to aid & abet & fund- hoping to be able to do the same.
My Pyrex pan exploded on me a few weeks ago. Not surprised to see that it’s because lesser quality is at play. We are seeing consolidation happening in the fiber world, too, which makes me sad to see.
