New personal record I did not want to set. Tokyo to Austria, door-to-door: 39 hours. Beats my previous worst (Honolulu → Vienna) by one hour.

One more thought before boarding my flight back home: Together, these people design and build products for Billions (with a B!) of people. Incredibly grateful to be even a tiny part of this. Blows my mind. 🤯
Design Forum Tokyo was an absolute blast. So glad I extended my trip for this. 👏
My coffee came with a business card. Tokyo’s attention to detail is something else. ☕️ 👀
Immigration in Bangkok: Almost two hours this time. Immigration in Tokyo: 15min. Touchdown to hotel in almost under an hour. I’d say that’s a very good start Japan! 🇯🇵 👏
Your worst customers demand discounts and other special prices. They either aren’t seeing the value, or they’re not building a respectful two-way relationship. (1/5)
Is “guy who takes pictures of boats” a valid career path if appointmed doesn’t work out? 😅 #photography #travel
Left my Macbook behind for the first time in ~16 years for this trip. Feels weird, but deserved after grinding this long with only a few days off at a time. First multi-week break ever since going full-time on my own almost 20 years ago. 👴🫠
Embrace marketing. Even a great product dies if no one knows about it.
All packed and ready. Tomorrow I’m flying to Thailand for some sun before continuing to Japan for Tokyo Design Forum. Let’s goooooooo 💪
At scale, but even with a single team of 6, if you’re not completely aligned, then everyone is moving in different directions, so the group as a whole is moving slowly compared to what it could be. Alignment is an accelerant.
Almost time for our session. I get to talk about two of my favorite things: Product Design and Aviation! 🥳 Want to join us? www.duda.co/webinars/b2s...
I sat down over the weekend, to write a bit about what 10 years of patience actually buys you. The good, the messy, and the parts that surprised me. It’s a longer read, but I’m proud of this one and maybe it helps other founders along the way. www.saismo.at/writing/10y
10 Years of appointmed: What Patience Actually Buys You – Slow & Steady by Patrik Inzinger
10 years of building slowly: 7-figure revenue, 1% annual churn, 8-person team. What patience actually buys you when you have the patience to build right.

"Rental Family" was a surprisingly good movie. Also, a great way to get in the mood for my trip to Tokyo! 🗼
This week we hit 10 years. It’s been one hell of a journey, full of wins, devastating setbacks, and everything in between. Hard to believe we made it here and excited for what’s next. 🍰 🍾
Two days at the spa with the entire company is great way to kick off the new year. 🧘♂️ 10/10 highly recommend.
I had a full todo list today. Decided I deserve a day off instead. 🧘♂️ Kobe approves. 🐕

My Bose QC35 won't turn off anymore. Battery is _always_ dead. 😢😢 What are the absolute best noise-cancelling headphones right now? Still Bose? Sony? Something entirely different? 🤔 (please don't recommend Airpods Max)
My copy of The Pathless Path is somewhere between the Netherlands and Austria and I can’t wait to dive in. 📦 That post about the reason why it exists hyped me up even more! https://pathlesspath.com/reclaim-the-book/
That partly solves my problem of finding interesting content on BlueSky. Great feed!

Ever since I switched back to Apple Reminders, I've missed the fantastic(!) Quick-Entry feature from Todoist. Until I found this super simple menu bar app: github.com/DamascenoRaf... It's not perfect, but close enough for my needs. If you're using Reminders too, it's definitely worth a look!

Reading @asmartbear.com articles is like fighting a hydra. Cut through one, four more spawn in your tabs. Except instead of eventually winning, you just become a better entrepreneur while drowning in your reading list. 🫠
I wish there were a way to import specific people from X so I can see their posts here on BlueSky. I still have so many friends and followers who haven't moved over (yet?). 😔
Oof… 😮💨 Watched Nuremberg tonight. it feels disturbingly relevant to what we’re seeing in the US right now. https://youtu.be/WvAy9C-bipY?si=mzLMBqgUKjR5EQ9f
The best designers are exceptional systems thinkers, which makes them dangerous product builders in 2026.
Been back at the gym for a few weeks. Body has adapted again, so I started tracking my progress. Tried hevy.com today. Great interface and Apple Watch integration works well. 👏
