Did you know we administer a number of grants for authors? Grants currently open for applications include: 🖊️Authors' Foundation grants for works-in-progress 📜Strachey Trust Grants to enable authors to access literary manuscripts in a UK or Republic of Ireland archive

Don't know where this energy is coming from, but after yesterday's successful gardening, painting and cooking spree, today so far I have watered garden, ripped out a plant I forgot, done washing and hung out, massacred wasp loving greenery now on to moussaka for lunch with bargain aubergines. #Busy

Back when I had Twitter I used to offer free headshots for low-income authors, not sure I have much reach here but the offer is still there. London or Birmingham (although I’m in Glasgow and Edinburgh at the end of Aug and can fit in a session. Will have lights so can be indoors).

Just briefly seen news. These organisations seem determined to do their utmost to destroy Burnham. He gave a powerful piece to camera today about the situation with prison releases. Was it referred to - of course not. #Burnham
