Businesses forcing Ai on employees is infuriating. At least with previous techbro scams—the NFTs, the crypt—you didn’t have to get involved unless you bought into the lie. But now with AI, they’ve has decided the problem isn’t that they’re selling shitty scams, it’s that they gave us a choice.

We tend to assume boredom is something to be avoided, but in centuries past you would go wandering through the woods or stare at the walls of a cave for an hour and accidentally invent beer or a new religion or write Alice in Wonderland.
