Kylo is painfully aware of falling in love with her.
He lay bleeding on the ground on Starkiller Base, gazing up at her, flushed and defiant, lit by his lightsabre and he knows the very second that it happens because it is so starkly opposed to the rage he has worn like a second, more comfortable skin since he was a teenager being exiled to Luke's academy.
This new... thing that takes up residence in his chest feels more like warm sunlight after a cold night than the molent lava he has grown so accustomed to. It is disorienting, to say the least.
He was not prepared for the way it makes him worry all of the time. Is she safe? Is she cold? Or too hot? Does she have
enough to eat? Exactly how close are she and that filthy traitor?
The thoughts of her never end, eating at him every moment of every day and eroding his sanity. She even follows him into his dreams.

But by far the most frustrating aspect is the girl herself. She
made it clear she didn't feel the same way with how easily
she spurned him, and how quickly she abandoned him in that snowy forest, choosing the Resistance scum instead.
Despite that, all he had wanted was to crawl after her.
Pathetic.
Rage is useful, it serves as armour- a barrier between him
and the rest of the galaxy. His love for Rey, on the other
hand, does nothing but leave his soft underbelly exposed.
He much prefers the latter, he decides.
Also, if he doesn't see her again soon, he is going to die.

He's got her seated in his lap again, his preferred place for her-aside
from his bed, of course.
The knife he grips looks comically small in his massive paw. A pretty
mother of pearl handle attached to a gracefully curved blade, etched with
his favourite pet name for her.
The first of many gifts he will bestow upon her.
He sets the razor sharp point against the throat of the terrified man
chained to the concrete floor of this white tiled room, just below the
point of his jaw.
"This," he tells his girl, "is the external carotid artery. Depending on the
depth of the wound, it can take between two and twenty minutes for
exsanguination." He nicks the skin, marking the spot with the tiny bead of
blood that wells up to the surface, drawing a strangled shout from his
victim.
Kylo rolls his eyes. Hux has always been so dramatic.
Glancing down at Rey, he finds her with her eyes half closed, mouth
dropped open with her little panting breaths. "Are you paying attention, little one?"
"y-yes, sir," she warbles, straightening her spine.

"Good girl" Her reward is a single circle of the pad of his thumb on her
clit before he goes back to applying steady pressure to the sensitive
nerves.
She whines, head tossing where it rests against his shoulder.
"Focus, baby" Kylo chides lightly.
He continues his lesson, moving across Hux's body, marking the major
arteries and veins with droplets of blood, explaining how long severing
each would take to be fatal.
His sweet girl follows along as best she can, interjecting with questions
here and there.
By the time he finishes, her thighs are trembling around his hand.
Unclenching one of her curled fists, he places the knife there. "Here is
what were going to do, baby. You are going to choose where you want to
cut him, and how deep," he murmurs, pressing harder on her poor little
clit. "Then I'm going to fuck your pretty pink cunt on my fingers for as
long as it takes him to bleed out. Doesn't that sound fun?"
"So fun, sir, Rey mewls.
Fuck, she's perfect. That won't stop him from being mean, however.
Lowering his lips to her ear, he murmurs, "Of course, you're not allowed
to come until he's dead, so choose carefully, little killer."

I had plans (write, garde)n on this beautiful autumn day, but a big right-wing demonstration has been announced in my city today, so of course I'm now walking with the counter-march. Sigh. (Damn nutjobs who think they can ship their supporters here from all over to our left-center city🤬.)
