Chairwoman, Tulsa County Dems | a nobody trying to tell everybody | Cherokee. Creek. Kiowa. | ⏰ sarvhgray | street certified yapper
New card, same me. ICYMI: I was elected to serve as Chairwoman of the Tulsa County Democratic Party. We’re playing to win in Oklahoma’s 2nd biggest county. We’re not sitting around and waiting for anyone to fly in from D.C., the DNC, or anywhere else to save us. We got us. It’s time to work.

@sarahgray.bsky.social FYI, I quoted you in a column I wrote for Unitarian Universalist World that encourages progressives to consider running for local office. Thanks for your work! www.uuworld.org/articles/how...

They don’t have to dig too deep. The corruption lives on the surface in Oklahoma.
I question the Federal-level DOGE 💩, but neat that my many of my R colleagues are giddy about OK DOGE…because stuff they find will have been blessed by themselves; GOP’s had full control of OK government for over 2 decades & counting. Wonder if some of ‘em are like: “We sure we want to go digging?”🫣
my children say I was born in 19s or the 1900s & they’re not trying to be funny. tried explaining I was barely born in 1900s. it doesn’t matter. they know I’m friends/collegial with folks in elected office/government so when they learn abt historical figures they ask if I knew them in the 19s.
It's so weird that in the end Twitter became state media
as much as I recognize the world is burning (literally and figuratively), I’m truly grateful each day I wake up on the right side of the dirt. 2025 started with me contemplating my own mortality more than I ever have &, no matter what, I’m just grateful to be here to love my kids another day.
Pete Hegseth is the most unserious, unqualified nominee for SecDef and every single U.S. Senator who supports his nomination doesn’t give a shit about the security of our nation or the lives of our service members.
we need decorum lessons, y’all. 🥲 between people coughing nonstop during President Carter’s funeral and then pulling phones out as he’s brought in… y’all are disappointing.
My ongoing assumption is that the talk about territorial expansion is a shiny object to distract from the giveaways to billionaires and massive personal corruption that he's actually going to do.
when I say PR has a dark side, here is a perfect example of that. there are PR operatives in every industry who seek to destroy rather than build up. it truly is an evil practice of our profession. unfortunately, it’s also a very lucrative practice.
Well this is horrifying. The wave of stories over the summer about Blake Lively being a horrible person were deliberately engineered. After Blake Lively alleged sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni hired Johnny Depp's PR person to smear her.
if Ryan Walters actually runs for governor, I’m coming out of retirement and re-entering the campaign staffer draft. not a chance I’m watching from the bleachers.
The more people who read our stories, the easier it is to create that impact. Unfortunately, like every media company, social media is no longer a reliable way to reach new readers, putting us in the position of seeking new ways to promote our journalism. www.readfrontier.org/stories/sign...

I need to read 15 think pieces re. Netflix inadvertently prepping and priming the internet to respond like it has to the accusations against Luigi Mangione… - “Monsters” features the Menendez bros story - “The Madness” invites people to question American pillars of power Whew boy.
question abt the drones in New Jersey thing: is this the fed’s “oh no, public scrutiny at a time when we actually messed up. Hey folks, aliens are real!” play but in a different font?
Old habits die hard. Restarting my thread from Twitter here on Bluesky. Pls forgive me. In Claremore at the Indian Hospital bright (dark?) and early. Will be live tweeting my surprise (emergency) dental work I’ll hopefully be getting shortly. 💉😃 6:28am /1

“…the optics of a hungry child.” update: the bad place is still bad
We need a public defenders division for healthcare claims. Health insurance (or lack thereof) affects your standard of living. & these companies made nearly $25 billion in profits last year. We shouldn’t leave folks on their own to fight a machine in court over unpaid claims or denied coverage.
The only thing I would change about my general election is I would not have a presence on NextDoor again.
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions declared in front of the National Assembly that they will go on an indefinite general strike until President Yoon Suk Yeol resigns. Talk about union power.
Eight candidates filed to run for OKC City Council seats in Wards 1, 3, 4 and 7. The general election is Feb. 11, 2025. The nonpartisan election will decide who represents those Wards on the Council for the next four-year term. www.okc.gov/Home/Compone...
the best way to “defund the ACLU” is to simply stop violating the civil liberties of people in America.
