In Bregenz gibt's heute 36° und damit einen neuen Rekord für die meisten Hitzetage (über 30°) in einem Jahr. Schon 30 solcher 30°-Tage gab es heuer, weitere 7 dürften in dieser Hitzewelle folgen. Krass: Früher (1971-2000) hatte Bregenz im Schnitt 3 (!) Hitzetage pro Jahr - und heuer eben etwa 37.

Der Sonnblick auf 3100m Höhe ist mit heute offiziell ausgeapert. Seit Messbeginn 1938 ist das erst zwei Mal so früh im Jahr passiert (2022 & 2025). Vor dem menschengemachten Klimawandel lagen um diese Zeit im Jahresdurchschnitt (!) noch 3 Meter Schnee.

I know people want to say something else with this chart, but the striking bit is that exports from Germany to #China have basically stagnated since the end of 2014.
German manufacturing shows clear signs of a turnaround as new orders surge. This is good news for Germany and for other countries at the heart of Europe’s industrial core.
So important. What they say is not the story. That is never the story. What happened is the story. Write what happened.
