Murakami's NPB HR/FB%: 2023 24.4% 2024 24.1% 2025 36.1% Keep in mind that in NPB, hitters strike out far less than they do in MLB. So even if we ignored 2023 and 2024 and said that Murakami's 2025 HR/FB% is his true talent level, we shouldn't expect him to sustain it when moving to MLB.

What was his career HR/FB in Japan? Given how much noise is in HR:FB in short samples I’d expect regression to his career rate
