Finally came around to reading BLAME! after years of meaning to start it, and, my god, people were not lying when they said the environment art on it is just unreal. Just finished book 1, hopefully it keeps up throughout all of them.

I am TERRIFIED to call people and I call my reps. Even just a simple 'I need you to appeal the KOSA act/Online Safety act or I'm voting against you' is enough of a sentence. it gets them scared, it gets them to act. This isn't just about 'porn', even tame stuff is targeted now. You might be next.

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening

I have no clue why it was on that slide or who put it there, and every member of the crew I worked with is 100% against AI. Every aspect of the animation is handcrafted by real artists and I hope that people don’t use this slide as a reason to detract from how much love and labor went into the film.

In the time this type of person got obsessed with ChatGPT, from when it went mainstream to this post, I went ahead and got a whole degree in animation + multimedia, ADHD diagnosis and all in between, which was *so, SO hard* Can't wait to do creative stuff out of thin air with my own hands and brain
