i am actually genuinely surprised to admit that my shoulder is doing better so quickly. i plan on doing at least a little drawring tomowwow.

just found some of my old art listings and MAN it's giving me a yearnin'. i used to do tarot pull sketch commissions where i'd give you a 1-card tarot reading and draw your character AS the card that i pulled. fuckin sick. i miss those.
ive never participated but my favorite thing about artfight is that i never hear about which team won, its always just a million billion shares about the art that got made. the real winner is EVERYBODY.

spent hours yesterday trying to get the metaphysical shop owner to show up to show me the keys and teach me how to open/close the store and she was so flaky it never ended up happening. i wonder why the business has been struggling, jess.
the most frustrating part is that i went in there fully confident in the beginning and by the end of the day i was like "until she decides to change this direction i will never make headway" which is true. your target audience cannot be "everyone". it doesn't work like that.

my lemon balm is lemon balming so today i will be making a simple syrup, harvesting for drying, and seeing what else i can throw it at. i have no gelatin for making jelly but i might go get some later for funsies. last year I didn't do much with it and i regretted it so THIS YEAR WE ARE DOIN IT
