1 year ago I ordered 32GB RAM. But because I missed that I had an old BIOS, I thought my motherboard couldn't support it. So I returned the RAM to get my $185 back. That same RAM is going for $1,090 today. Wow. (Talk about a lesson learned on my end! Costly oversight.)

Just declined to engage with a large testing vendor in the SAP space based on how they treated a #dotnet #oss project in the past. We could have possibly spent a good deal of money with them, but orgs need to know that how they treat OSS directly impacts brand trust.

Looks like @bitnami.bsky.social yanked a bunch of images from their repos that I was previously told I could use with a custom build process. Instead, they appear to have lied and pulled them entirely. They are holding it hostage for enterprise licensing, holding small orgs hostage.

I'm proud of myself this vacation. Didn't open a laptop, paused all work related apps, didn't check in once. Spent a ton of great time with family. A great family trip.

Fitbit converted to Google Health like 2 days ago and the AI coach already annoys me so much that I'm probably going to turn it off. Way to just tank a product by adding something that annoys you continuously, gets basic stuff wrong, and doesn't listen to feedback.
