This is a beautiful video - and it's not just for eldercare, but for all sorts of long term care. My brother has I/DD and is currently in a skilled nursing facility after hospitalization/sepsis. Don't believe this administration - these facilities are not equipped for people like him 1/

I had a steadfast partner, friends who came when they could, and a job that included a small benefit for a limited number of caretaker hours, and I still have never felt so totally alone. The impact on my health from the stress and workload is lasting. We need a world with humane systems for care.

The solutions? Smaller classes, lower teaching loads for faculty, and in-person classes.
