If "Death of the Author" means interpreting a text need not conform to the creator's intent, this might be "Death of the Audience," where there is no interpretation to do at all. A reader is not expected (nor encouraged) to find meaning. Consumerist Non-Being, like an anti-zen breathing exercise.

SCREEN Act, which would have required mandatory age-verification for sites (like this) that allow "material harmful to minors" failed to pass out of committee after thousands and thousands of people called their Senators. More work ahead!

Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

Tips: -Don't follow-for-follow random accounts. Look at their profile, read their bio, check out their replies to other people -Are they reposting/engaging w/community, or is their feed just spam? -Hit [...] on their profile and search their posts for "AI"—if it's a human are they pro AI? Some are😬
At the very least, your contrarian screeds should be well-researched and approached seriously by its author. You do not have to host poorly edited and unfiltered ramblings whose arguments lie between Previously Debunked and Obvious Nonsense. That's for personal microblogs, not your org newsletter.

I think I need to really start making a moderation list for all the bots that are beta readers and editors. I have blocked sooo many since I follow the #editing feed and it gets filled with AI slop. This project might take a bit, but I want to help protect writers.
