Couldn't have put it any better. As evidenced by that shyster Yaxley-Lennon who claimed to be reformed after his first stints in jail for the EDL, and then post-EDL turned out to still be just as racist, xenophobic and as big a fraud as he was when doing EDL shit.

Fraser Nelson reckons Rod Liddle was “the greatest satirist since Swift” while Michael Gove is comparing him to not just Swift but Orwell. Amazing the comparisons you can get if you’ll pump out exactly the racist opinions even they are too squeamish to commit to print.
Again, I know we should not speak ill of the dead, but this guy was pretty horrible in life. The generally glowing obituary for him in the BBC is pretty sickening.

I'm glad to see this. It's what many of us have been arguing for a long time, but until now no one in government seemed ready to listen. Let's hope we will begin to see an education policy which works for children, and for the 21st Century. In The Times today.
Looking forward to hearing @channel4tv.bsky.social justify this unfathomably reckless and damaging title, let alone anything else. The journalistic equivalent of throwing a hornet's nest into an A&E ward, to 'raise awareness of injuries'.

This!! As @plashingvole.bsky.social once put it, England doesn’t have an education system. It has an examinations system. And the government is in the process of making it even harder to meet children’s needs within that system

People who take care to tell you that tomatoes are a fruit, not a vegetable… WRONG! They are a fruit, but why would you think that an edible fruit (seed-bearing part of a plant) is not a vegetable (edible part of a plant)? If you’re going to do a pompous “I think you’ll find..”, get it right.
