Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio says in a statement to EITM that it is maintaining its endorsement of Amy Acton despite her calling trans girls boys and saying sports bans are a matter of health and safety. Notably, the same bill Acton defended also bans trans youth care.

"Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio stands with transgender Ohioans, and we were disappointed by Dr. Amy Acton's recent comments about participation in school sports. We are among the organizations and leaders raising these concerns directly with her campaign and will continue advocating against political interference in gender-affirming care and for the health, safety and dignity of the transgender community. PPAO's endorsement highlights the stark difference between Dr. Amy Acton's commitment to the Ohio Reproductive Freedom amendment and billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy's extreme anti-abortion views. PPAO is fully committed to bodily autonomy for all of the communities we serve."

since I haven't said it outside of stream in a while: trans women are women trans men are men trans right are human rights I will not tiptoe around my support for those facts to be more "palatable". I will not be quiet to make terfs comfortable. That shit will not fly in my community or life.
