Marketing Director, Cari McGee Real Estate Team, a Top 10 agent in our market of 900-1000 agents. 500+ agents read my real estate newsletter, Marketing Unlocked. I use lists, don't follow. Every day is a gift. Clarity changes everything.

This was a fun conversation, and should be really informative for local businesses, too. I shared a lot of how Cari and I think and what we do to build her real estate brand online and around town.

At a real estate conference that's starting in 5 minutes. Looks like SEO and AI is a big theme this week. I'm betting I'll hear "no one uses Google anymore" within the first 10 minutes. 🙄

New Jersey just became the third state to curb personalized pricing. “No consumer should have to pay more for groceries because a company knows what they’re searching for online, what their income is, the makeup of their household, or where they go,” said CR's Grace Gedye.

New: Researchers have quantified how easy AI search is to manipulate. Just 13 words buried in a random Reddit comment can poison AI search results. They suggest this is not easy to stop: "The way you can attack these systems is so much dumber than you think it is" www.404media.co/it-is-trivia...

"We show that a tiny snippet—just 13 words—of retrieved text on a UGC website like Reddit, Wikipedia, Quora, or Facebook can change AI agents to output spam / scam content pretty consistently."

I'm not a hockey expert by any means, but after Carolina steamrolled my Flyers, I told my son, "I don't know how they don't win it all. They never make a bad decision on the ice. It's almost perfect hockey." That was a masterclass tonight. Props to the Hurricanes. Great team.

The need* to post every day on social media makes some people say/do some really questionable things, IMO. I'm talking about my fellow marketers/SEOs as much as I'm talking about real estate agents. (*also, you don't need to post every day, it'll be okay)
