Gradients, smudge tool, blur - they’re all great tools, until your art turns into a blurry mess. A soft rendering style is not easy to pull off, which is why I made a video about it ~ this one comes with 3 smudge brushes that I made myself! ✨ Find it here: www.patreon.com/posts/tutori...
This is a technique I’ve used for years because of this one tweet from @sonnyross.bsky.social. Thank you Sonny for changing my life The book cover was designed by Talia Abramson at Penguin but they let me have a bit of a say over the colours. And I said boy do I have an idea….
it’s my birthday!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🎂 i’d appreciate it if you could share my art and brushes today, ty for supporting me all these years 🫶🫶🫶

Visited the Wadsworth Athenaeum recently and found one of my favorite objects. Head of a woman (stucco) 4th-5th century CE Greco-Buddhist Hadda, Eastern Afghanistan Possibly a bodhisattva (enlightened being), this head was once part of a larger sculpture made of unfired clay.
Really really hope this does what I want it to. I don't want a bad glaze to ruin this mug!
