My favorite childhood toys nourished my love of both innovative design and history. Certain features of the French Reign of Terror 1793, for example, provided hours of wonder and delightfully imaginative play. WOUND LIQUOR, Thursday August 6th, Noon to 3 PM WFMU's Give The Drummer Radio

Books, films, old TV, football, music. A doubtful guest. Vaguely narrative.
My great grandfather was named George Harkus Fawcus which is something I was just reminded about. Great name.
We need to bring back “iconic actor branded horror anthology” as a publishing genre.
Bede's World! Bede's World! Party time! Venerable!
When politicians and other notables only had the legacy media to connect with the public they had a filter. The media effectively laundered their worst blemishes so they seemed to be reasonable human beings, almost decent people if you like. That’s no longer the case.
I’ve become more and more left wing as I’ve gotten older. A major part of that is so many right wingers and ‘centrists’ showing how craven and worthless they are on social media.

I have been struggling to find this (once seen, never forgotten). Thank you David!
Many people outside the UK have been asking me who Rod Liddle was. Here's Stewart Lee (from 08:53 onwards) on the man described by Fraser Nelson (former editor of The Spectator) as 'the greatest satirist since Swift.' Let this be the last word on the subject. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFt3...

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
Another one was Andrew Marr looking like Martin Clunes but with half the air leaked out
What’s your favourite description of a famous person? I like Alan Partridge on Gary Barlow who described him as a “Wide hipped wealth enthusiast”
I feel like we’re giving too much attention to recently deceased cunts. Best to acknowledge that the world is now a better place and move on with your day.
After someone dies it’s too late to tell them what they meant to you. Let Rod Liddle’s death be a warning, tell some cunt what a piece of shit they are.
Farage has started doing his photo ops in industrial estates and abandoned factories because he’s been watching The Professionals on ITV4.
He’s shipped them in from all across the country. Our town’s mayor is there.
You'd be amazed how many people it takes to fight a bin.
Well done Aisling Bea. We are bored of these shits like Ross asking these fucking questions.
Breathe easy, InfoWarriors! Sen. Mitch McConnell just called in with a reassuring update from the space between life and death!
My dad told me his dad took him to see an X rated film in the mid fifties. Dad was 14 at the time and my granda insisted to the ticket seller that he was 18. They let them in. It wasn’t a dirty film, they didn’t really have those in the North East in the 50s. He sadly didn’t recall what it was.
