Scott "KaiserNeko" Frerichs@kaiserneko.bsky.social · 2w agoI hate A.I. far more than the average person, but I expected from the beginning that whoever put this together was *not* representative of the creative team behind the movie. Some of us have *got* to stop rushing to judgment. It's not fair to the artists doing their best.
He's credited by Japan's cultural historians as having personally saved enormous amounts of folklore from being completely lost, too. Hundreds of yokai legends are only known now because he collected them from remote communities that are themseles often gone.

Previously, I posted about how Yoshi's Island bosses are shaped dynamically from cones. It turns out there is a way to see this in-game. If the cartridge is pulled out during a boss battle (PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS), the boss will revert back into its true cone form.
But the norm for birds is the gravity-assisted "sip-and-tilt" of a beak-full of water, an adaptation to the challenge of hard beaks that don't make perfect seals.
