DO NOT APPLY TO OR ATTEND THIS SHOW. I don't care if it's in your backyard. You can bet that every convention runner is watching this and the bad ones are salivating at this idea of $150 application fees, plus jacked up booth rates. If it works for this show, they WILL try it at theirs.
Imagine the sound of me audibly blinking. aslkdjfh I hope more doujin, small press, and zine events get super active and successful and then the big cons have to look at each other, scratch their heads a little bit, and stop fleecing broke artists/only allowing space for ones that can take the hit.

y'all do not like when autistic people are not quirky and uwu-ified. y'all cannot handle a boring and shy autistic person and automatically assume we are mean and scary and that is very weird of you!

A police department in Florida used “decoy” Flock cameras that an officer 3D-printed at home to “bait” would-be vandals and charged a man with three felonies after he cut down and destroyed one of the plastic devices. @jasonkoebler.bsky.social reports. Watch now: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYCv...
Every time I see a white person with dreadlocks, I make a wish.
I always knew it would be a rough day when Dolly left us; what I didn't expect was all the joy everyone is sharing about her life. It takes a special sort of light inside someone to do that.
Art people! Found a new reference source called angleref.com, you can rotate a skull and see tons of faces at that angle. I’m sure there’s more to the site but how cool is that? Happy drawing :)

If world governments are so hellbent on making social media safe for kids maybe they should start with getting rid of all the pedophiles and bad actors whose only goal in life is hurting children
Consumer options being reduced, no competition, and monopolisation of the means to market has never reduced prices for any product ever. People really need to think about this properly before reporting and sharing it. The person saying this has been been ragebait for weeks.

I wish I could find it again, but I read a research study in maybe 2023 that found that AI companies intentionally designed chatbots to give *any* answer rather than "I don't know" bc when users got the latter response most left the chatbot but when they got the former most kept interacting.
the world would be a much better place if we mocked people for confident wrong answers way more aggressively and for saying "I don't know" way way less
