Absolute Wonder Woman #20 AWW is BY FAR my favorite of all the Absolute titles THIS issue stands above all A huge thanks to @kellythompson.bsky.social @cleanlined.bsky.social & Jordie Bellaire The page layouts are magical what Kelly does w/ the story between Persephone and Hades is heart wrenching

Supergirl #8 Still absolutely loving what @mooncalfe1.bsky.social is doing with this title and hey perfect timing for the Maid of Might to get more spotlight! Great to see a return to the holiday issue style comics and @hainingart.bsky.social more than delivers! Kudos 🤘🏼

Absolute Wonder Woman #11 This has quickly become the definitive Wonder Woman for me, not from her strength & heroics as adult WW but the story told as young Diana. It’s one of the titles I reread as soon as I get to the end. Kudos to @kellythompson.bsky.social Hayden & Jordie. These pages are 🔥 🔥

Lost Fantasy #3 Come for the cool retro gaming covers, stay for excellent story and art! 🤘🏼 @curtpires.bsky.social @lucacasalanguida.bsky.social have something special here. Check it out if you haven’t already! 😃

Supergirl #3 Freaking loving this series and @mooncalfe1.bsky.social knocks another one out of the park! Truly hope you have long term plans for this title as I’m here for it! It’s at the top of my read pile and this was the best issue yet, thanks! 🤘🏼

Absolute Wonder Woman 7 After each issue I sit & say “that’s the best one yet!” and AWW 7 is no different. But no srsly it really is! @kellythompson.bsky.social crafted a critical piece of Diana’s history which is beautifully illustrated by @mattiadeiulis.bsky.social Highest recommendation! 🤘🏼

Absolute Green Lantern #1 I’ve been a GL fan since the late 70’s & seen every iteration imaginable. What @alewingpromotes.bsky.social & @jahnoyl.bsky.social have done is present the freshest boldest & most beautifully crafted take on the GL lore. I am 100% All In & LOVING the splash pages! 🤘🏼

Superman III There’s not much that this movie does right (huge missed opportunity to make the fake Kryptonite red) BUT Dark Superman vs Clark Kent is still my favorite battle in any super hero comic book movie. #Superman

Summer of Superman Special Just magnificent work by @markwaid.bsky.social @danslott.bsky.social @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social @jorgejimenezart.bsky.social & Dan Mora! Everyone is clearly having fun and bringing their A game! Excited for what’s to come, thank you all! #SupermanDay

Now THIS is exciting news! @phillipkjohnson.bsky.social run in Action is nothing short of amazing combing the humanity of Superman/Clark with nuanced sci-fi elements and bombastic fights! Stoked that we’re getting the conclusion to his story. #SupermanDay

Happy Superman Day! To me, Superman will always embody hope and courage. The challenge to do more for others while working to be a better person every day. He’s truly the greatest of all superheroes and my favorite.

Absolute Wonder Woman 6 This issue was an enthralling chapter expertly executed by @kellythompson.bsky.social @mattiadeiulis.bsky.social @beccasee.bsky.social Diana from hell is perfect with all the gods and monsters it has to offer! If you’ve skipped this title (shame) get 6 then run back for 1-5

Absolute Batman #6 and “the kick heard round the world” 🤣 WHEN you know you’ll know! Such magnificent use of double splash pages and big bold single page images! Stunning! Can FEEL the tension rising on every page & panel. Thank you @ssnyder1835.bsky.social @nickdragotta.bsky.social & Frank Martin

Take a bow @jefflemire171.bsky.social Nick Robles and Adriano Lucas! Absolute Flash is an absolute banger! ⚡️ You don’t realize how much comics are underusing double page spreads and full page images until you see them done so SPECTACULARLY!! DC has struck gold with these Absolute titles 🤘🏼

1st I’m late to the party as usual. 2nd I finished this book in 2 days. 3rd it was absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! Actually had me stop reading to laugh, dare I say, out loud! Kudos @fabiannicieza.bsky.social I’ve been a fan of your comic work for decades and now apparently your novel. Thank you! 🤘🏼

@jamesgunn.bsky.social Very excited for Superman this summer. A big ask, can we do better by the creators than what’s been the norm with wedging a bleak “special thanks” at the end of the long list of credits please? Superman: The Movie and The Losers did a great job. Thanks

Offbeat comics question that I THINK @eriklarsen.bsky.social can answer or at least understand what I’m asking. Late 80s/early 90s prestige formats comics coloring looks “different” is the best way to describe it. Was this due to paper stock, new digital coloring techniques, something else?

Watched The Gorge last night and loved it! Really enjoyed the slow build to care about the characters and the action was paced perfectly! 🤘🏼 Kudos @crobertcargill.bsky.social et al. My only complaint…I wish it went to theaters as it begs to be seen on the big screen. 😉

Black excellence: Twice as qualified, half as respected, and still passed over or labeled as a ‘DEI hire.’ Black folks have always known this because we’ve seen it happen to our own family members. I know I have.

Montgomery County Public Schools comes out and tells Trump to pound sand with his EO telling schools that they have to discriminate against transgender students. This is how you refuse to comply.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Hi. Jewish person here. These are concentration camps and should be called that by everyone.

Everybody learns, from a pretty young age, that the Nazis were unfathomably evil, and they performed a “Nazi salute,” and this is something you don’t copy in your everyday life: bit.ly/4gdjnQe

This is the face of courage and compassion. Thank you Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde for speaking truth to power on behalf of the marginalized.
