“Where are all the women” ask knuckle dragging far right scum while talking about asylum seekers. Getting sexually assaulted by British men, it would seem.

In reverence to all those who think they know what they thought they meant to say. Curated by Chris Church.
Me, after listening to Burnham talk about the public ownership of water, introducing PR and rejoining the EU.
Still, 39% still say they never exercise. Time and motivation remain the main hurdles for many people across Europe. This week is #EuropeanWeekofSport, and there’s a free event near you. Start today! 🔗 link.europa.eu/8HwNXR

How do Lib Dem's feel about their party's position on Europe? We spoke to party members at their autumn conference to find out! 🎤
GB News had me on this morning to discuss whether to make it ILLEGAL to join the EU. Obviously mad and not even their proponent for the motion actually backed it… but the host was insistent.
Too many mothers and babies are being let down by unsafe maternity care. Ministers cannot turn a blind eye. We’re calling for one-to-one maternity care so every mother gets safe, compassionate support.
Fractious fash left floundering with fish in foolhardy fiasco
Daniel Thomas, whose Patriot Platform group caused havoc in Dover and Portsmouth, had purchased the vessel to interfere with Border Force operations
Robert Jenrick, what a plonker. As easy as he is to mock, the ideas him and Reform are pushing are dangerous. While the Conservatives weakly follow their lead, Liberal Democrats will stand up to them.
Having lived through those years, I remember the fear many reporters faced but carried on despite all. Thank you.

Good morning @tomwatsonofficial.bsky.social Your journey from MP who most understood the Cambridge Analytica scandal to paid-up Palantir apologist is really quite the journey. Hope the pay packet is worth it. 💰 Here’s some background reading ahead of your first day 🧵👇
Talk Radio just lashed out grumpily over @dpcarrington.bsky.social's excellent Guardian article detailing their wild inaccuracies on climate change, which we were v happy to feed into... Here's the piece, which Talk *probably* don't want you to read or share... www.theguardian.com/environment/...

We’re winning where it matters: at the ballot box. While Farage pushes Trump-style politics, Lib Dems are focused on practical solutions that improve people’s lives. @eddavey.libdems.org.uk
The only 4 constituencies where rejoining the EU wasn’t the preferred option were those of Lee Anderson, Farage, Tice and Lowe. In those 4, the top answer was ‘don’t know’. Confirming that Brexit has no real support at all. Not surprising for a total shitshow. And makes red lines seem very silly.
Britain has sleepwalked into a “computer says no” economy, where businesses face barriers instead of backing. It’s time to get Britain growing again and give people the freedom to succeed. @LibDemDaisy.bsky.social

25 years after 9/11, I still feel that overwhelming mix of shock, grief and outrage. Today we remember the thousands cruelly murdered by terrorists. We pray for the families, survivors and all our American friends. And we stand united against terror, and in defence of freedom.
The UK cannot exist in sublime isolation. We need cross-border agreements with our European Union allies to solve these cross-border, international issues.
The state needs to rewire itself so that it works around people. The answer is more complex than simply cutting the Welfare Bill.

They say a week is a long time in politics - and it's safe to say Reform have had an absolute shocker over the last seven days.

The Health Committee has heard how in too many cases of child suicide the different parts of the system were not talking to each other properly. The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to meet with me to discuss how we can stop these stories from happening.
