Right now, Direct File is still live and still awesome: directfile.irs.gov (It is so bad that an unelected person's tweet plausibly means a government program has ceased to exist.)

The stupidest thing about the "h1bs depress tech salaries" debate is that most h1bs go to tech jobs so if h1bs depress salaries, why are tech jobs the highest paid, most coveted jobs out there that everyone has been salivating to get into for the last decade?

A relative of mine told me who has her second ex-husband's name told me she didn't like it but was waiting to marry again to change it to her next husband's name. 🤯 All these husbands ditched all the kids with their names while she raised them. Why are women's own names not important?
Instagram is the worst except for my algo, which somehow consistently serves me incredible gems like this dog eating ramen.
My fave thing is takoyaki balls from the Korean store. I buy them so excited to enjoy them all week long and then eat all of them on the drive home like an ogre and get takoyaki dust all over my new car.
My husband bought a series of clothes that aren't my size as a Christmas gift and now I look like Mary Kate and Ashley circa their hobo chic years.
