A win for Brazil’s Indigenous peoples! 💪 An Indigenous territory, home to contacted and uncontacted Indigenous people, has finally been fully recognized after decades of delay. This is a resounding victory for the Indigenous movement in Brazil, who’d been fighting for this move for years.

I don’t know if you read Time magazine, but this cover made me stop and share. It comes with an investigation into the mass abduction and forced displacement of Ukrainian children by russian forces. I’m grateful this story is getting the attention it deserves.

I’m fundraising for engineering equipment (donation link in the end) and I often get asked: why can’t the government do this? There are many arguments, but the reality is simple. ⬇️

1. What would have been unthinkable a few years ago is now routine. Several Ukrainian drones successfully attacked a russian drone factory located in Dubna, only 115 km from the kremlin. This is a smart move by Ukraine, and there may be more to this attack than at first seems.

Je ne sais pas trop comment en parler tellement c'est insignifiant par rapport à ce que d'autres vivent . Ces derniers jours j'étais à Odessa, Ukraine, une ville romantique de bord de mer.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow

As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

We are thankful to Ukraine. In fact have a debt of honor. They have bled for democracy and Europe against a monster that menaces us too. Volunteers excepted, all we've spent is wealth. That can be replaced; lives lost cannot.

The Trump official currently dismantling USAID was caught in a secret meeting with a group of pro-Russian separatists in the Balkans. Those he met with are under American sanctions for trying to restart the Bosnian war in the name of Christian nationalism. 1/

I am raising funds for a car for the Ukrainian National Guard. For a family I know personally. For a friend's dad, who is serving. I am very bad at it. At fundraising. In 19 days i haven't even collected enough to buy a soviet car, let alone a pickup truck. About 1k $ still needed. 🎦 Kyiv region

Nah fuck off. We're not doing this dumb smol bean therapy language bullshit. He's the Secretary of Defense. He's an unqualified drunk. His decisions will undoubtedly lead to needless deaths.
