Professional writer organizations should not send out pro-AI propaganda in the form of tantrum-having "essays" to their members, and I don't think that's controversial.

I just can't believe one of horror movies' worst filmmakers has admitted to using Gen-AI. Just kidding -- if there was going to be a somewhat-known horror movie director to use it, I absolutely would have put my money on Eli Roth.

One more thing on the Mamdani grocery store plan -- for those that don't live in New York, let me assure you, bodegas are not meant for you to be doing your daily grocery food shopping on a tight budget to feed your whole family. That doesn't mean they're not amazing - but they're not supermarkets.

Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.
