"Female Rage" is now as worthless a marketing term as "sapphic". No more "female rage" and "sapphic". Dyke bloodbaths only.

"This story is about Female Rage, where a woman gets angry over being horribly mistreated and abused, but eventually learns to forgive and move on and be a nurturing kind soul instead of vengeful, which would be masculine and unbecoming---" Shut up. Let women rip out their abuser's spines.
Now would be a good time to sign up for the subscription tier or Patreon of 1 or 2 independent music sites you enjoy reading. The ad supported revenue model is dead. If you aren’t willing to pay for music writing you aren’t going to have access to it much longer.
“Music publications BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, Revolver, and Goldmine have been gutted by parent company Veeps... Nearly all the staff at each publication appear to have been laid off yesterday. Veeps, which is now owned by Live Nation, acquired the publications in 2024 or 2025”
Heard the single from it on Sunday and it's VERY promising, got Ash Borer's debut sort of vibes

I already don't use AI and avoid AI summaries, because they often hallucinate and get several things wrong while summarizing results. It'd make searching more convenient for me cuz it's less bullshit for me to scroll past and ignore.
Absolutely nothing about my days would change if AI disappeared tomorrow. I would have to click through on the search engines to actually read the definitions of the words I look up, I guess. But I should be doing more of that anyway.
Actually, my days would improve if AI disappeared tomorrow. No more looking at an image and wondering if it's real or fake -- or getting upset and disgusted with people I know for using AI, sharing obvious AI slop, etc.

In case anyone was curious (you can also find this out in the appendices of the short story collection) To Sima Semu'ul o Kuakul can be pronounced /to çɪmaː çemuːʔuɬ o kuwaːkuɬ/ or /to ʃiˈma ʃeˈmuːl o kuˈwakul/
Until we overthrow the shackles of capitalism, mankind is doomed to continue to remake Spiderman movies until the sun at last envelops the earth and ends our suffering.
liberals: "omg you can't say that Ukraine's governmemt and military are Nazi-run, that's Putin propaganda, don't you know they have A Jew?" Ukrainian military and government officials, hourly: "we love israel and Adolf Hitler"
I love how I decide to use this app despite my consistent hatred of social media in the vain hope of having another avenue to advertise my music while avoiding the AI-ridden, pedophilic Nazi den formerly known as Twitter, only to have the same threatened to happen here
Bandcamp Friday coming this week on a loved one's birthday so I'm planning some pretty huge discounts on things for it, stay tuned
All I really need to say about this D'Addario nonsense is I've been buying their strings for about a decade and I'll never order a single one again, and the content creators running defense for them do not deserve credibility nor your time
Having finally watched his 2 most recent movies, I have my Robert Eggers feature film ranking in order (I'll elaborate on how I feel in the replies) 1. The Lighthouse (10/10) 2. The Witch (9/10) 3. Nosferatu (9/10) 4. The Northman (7/10)
A couple updates: (1/2) I've added PDFs of Convergence, the short story collection, as bonus items for digital download (one standard, another accessible with OpenDyslexic font in large print). The digital purchase price has increased to $5 as a result. ecliptic.bandcamp.com/album/to-sim...

The way I want to beat people over the head as I scream at them that animation and film are still animated/filmed/screened at specific frame rates for a genuine artistic reason. There's a reason the 48 FPS The Hobbit trilogy looked like ass.
ai fetishest who doesn’t understand animation or old old video games were designed around limited frame rate: yknow this is cool but what if it looked like absolute shit????
Making a joke with this title actually made me want to listen to this excellent song again so here I am kayodot.bandcamp.com/track/n-g-h-...

I hope I don't become too annoying reposting my new album, but I just want to remark on how much I love it. I think it might be my favorite of all my works, and the art so perfectly captured the essence of what I was going for. Take a seat in the garden! skeletalworks.bandcamp.com/album/memori...

Springboarding off that previous point I feel so bad for people in their 20s that are embarrassed by the art they're passionate about "this is cringe but I like it" "this is my guilty pleasure" "sorry to yap but" I'm gonna hold your hand right now and tell you, you're allowed to care about things
The amount of metalheads and corekids too scared to admit they like some pop songs so they need it filtered through an obnoxiously commodified heavy-ification filter, it's quite staggering
Currently giving this one a spin too So creative and interestingly layered, the mix sounds like an absolute dream for this style. Especially loving the grit on that bass tone. rezzzn.bandcamp.com/album/cycles...
