I created my Twitter for posting switch screenshots. Maybe I’ll try and be more interesting here.

I have just been told about the new documentary about Wishbone. I loved that little dog and that whole show. possibly it had my first tv crush. But it definitely increased my love of literature and storytelling. I need the show to be streaming, please let the documentary announce a remaster DVD.

I need some recommendations for the best Arthurian novels - the original Malory (there must be a good modern English version?), retellings, re-imaginings, modern and old, including works that aren't quite retellings but take a lot of inspiration (like The Everlasting by @alixeharrow.bsky.social).

Spider-Man Noir trailer is out and I’m most excited for the black and white version. I claim credit for speaking this into existence with my pro-Cage reply earlier.

Today threatens to be a difficult shift. So I read a quick few chapters of manga. It’s a silly one, low stakes. Except suddenly it’s a powerful organization that should be helping people and defending the main character doing unforgivable things to him because he is suddenly inconvenient.

I saw an ad for a new series based on The Pendragon Cycle today. As a former obsessive teen who loved every Merlin and Camelot based story, I felt a glimmer of excitement. Shame it’s being put out by fucking nazis.

If you have Twitch Prime, they're giving away XCOM 2 for free this week. It's a code for GOG. If you already have XCOM 2, grab the code and give it to someone else who doesn't. It's a super great game and people need happy-making things now. SHARE THE THINGS.

I think I like superheroes but I think I hate when superheroes try and be about things. Sometimes the stories are amazing. Sometimes they’re bad. Sometimes they’re outrageously awful in the best way. But I hate that it never lasts. I hate how nothing really stays true.

I got a ban from somewhere and it’s not even for the sort of thing you’d expect today. And I’ve certainly said more inflammatory things today. Apparently some people are very sensitive to the word dumbass.
