It’s day 86 of the ICE occupation of MN. Rent is due on Sunday for thousands of our neighbors who’ve been unable to work for two months. It feels like everyone in the twin cities metro is fundraising for rent for immigrant neighbors, because the need is so high.

I don't know how the tech work culture got that way. The things that are rewarded the most are refactoring to the newest thing the fastest. Being communal and understanding how changing things affect others and trying to account for that somehow gets you point deductions.
