My wishes are simple; fair wages, clean environment, and bringing back the Five Black Categories.

AI is training its voice narration on illiterate youtubers and it's mimicking those idiots. I saw one youtube video that was using obvious AI narration, and at one point it says "din'nt" instead of "didn't", like a fucking three year old. Next, it will probably say "impordant".

I miss the Covid social distancing. It was so nice not having some foul creep breathing down my neck in a checkout line. Sure, we were all scared that we'd die a horrible organ failure death, but at least everyone stayed the fuck away.

I think we're going to have to get used to this. We will oscillate between dry years where everything burns, and very wet ones where we're challenged with what to do with all of the rainwater, especially since we live in the clayey bowl of an old glacial lake. And it will amplify over time.

In the age of the unmanned drone and hypersonic missiles, The Banker Carney will spend $100 billion on fucking submarines that will last, if lucky, 10 years. Most of that time will be in drydock for repair. This is like investing in swords for the cavalry after the invention of the Maxim gun.

Up here in Northern Canada, would we ever need air conditioning? Lol, lmao. So we did what Canadians do, and cut out a piece of plywood to fit the window and got a portable AC unit for those days we needed it. Now, we've upgraded to a heat pump that'll do both cooling and heating. Lost the plywood.

And that history will be "well I already have a heating system that works, so I'm not going to replace it. And I don't really need air conditioning all the time, but it would be nice in those heat waves. Maybe I'll buy one of those window units for the living room [but European]" fin.

I cringe at Mike Yanagita scenes in movies. I have never watched a Mike Yanagita scene that was actually imperative to the story. I always makes me feel like the producer is working out somhhehvnkjuhnevelojnnk;gn bm;;f...........

I cringe at sex scenes in movies. I have never watched a sex scene that was actually imperative to the story. It always makes me feel like the producer is working out some sort of fetish.

All the dudes replying to her saying that she's doing prompts wrong, because you have to tell the chatbot the answer to the question before you ask the question so that it can give you the answer to the question that you are asking it to answer, and it's unfair to expect it to get a correct answer.

You wanna know how dumb chatgpt is? I asked it a question about Olivia Rodrigo's 3rd album and it told me she's only released 2 albums. Her third album not only released but was #1, the singles all charting. Chatgpt can't even google shit. If you trust it's info for *anything* you are insane.

I think American liberals may be more upset than MAGA about Iran's victory over the US. They aren't mad that he killed all those schoolgirls: they're mad that he isn't killing more. "Oh no! Mango Mussolini's failure has damaged our Imperial ambitions!! 😱😢"

I know it's just a hockey broadcast, but it's another example of how even our national cultural institutions are corrupted, consumed, enshittified, and ultimately destroyed by capitalism. We let our country be run into the ground by venture capitalist banker screw worm maggots.

Our entire economy is being artificially propped up by astrology for men: AI, crypto, sports betting, and prediction markets. It's an economy shaped entirely by male insecurity and lack of impulse control, and we'll all pay the price.

This part. Every settler needs to be defending Indigenous sovereignty and the obligation to honour treaties. Smith’s appeal and attack on “the rule of law” is most harmfully a delegitimizing of First Nations’ rights.
