I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

An aircraft passenger oxygen mask: a drop down passenger mask with air bag and yellow plastic mouth and nose cover, oxygen tube has been cut; Demonstration model used by flight attendant crew for passenger instruction. Has text on the side indicating that it's non-functional.

High temps in Tehran and south Iran over 90 degrees, & 47 wants to bomb water treatment and electric facilities, in a nation of over 90M people. Objectively criminal, certain to cause chaos and death in a civilian population that does not matter to the Regime he's trying to topple. War Crime Prez.

US @ war in ME triggers oil crisis, GOP screaming about Commies, Fauci @ Senate re: COVID, Bon Jovi & Springsteen @ MSG, Knicks won 💖, Green Day American Idiot on radio, 2 kids flip thru records @ bus stop, X-Men toons on TV, What F year IS it? This timeline is so exhausting. Sry about the smoke. 🍁

Also: it’s not going to work! No voter is asking for a hearing about Anthony Fauci and COVID-19 in 2026 when the war in Iran is increasing gas prices by 50%. Republicans have been pushing for this because it gets retweets from rabid MAGA users on social media. This is made-for-X governing.

"MAGA has been losing the argument in the actual marketplace of ideas. So the strategy has shifted ...to cramming right-wing media down our throats. And using subpoenas, license reviews, antitrust waivers, and merger approvals to shrink the space where fact-based reporting competes at all."

Why Trump’s War on the Press Is Different This Time

MAGA can’t compete in the marketplace of ideas. So the Trump administration keeps trying to find ways to cram right-wing media down our throats.

It's been so hot I've busted out my "summer wardrobe" and my partner is seeing some things for the first time. So he's "checking me out" more than usual. Apparently, today, I am giving off "Divorced Art Teacher" vibes. I think that is possibly the best compliment I have received so far this year.
